I currently reside in South Yorkshire with my partner, Stephen,
and Border collie, Rosie.
Born in Liverpool at a time when the Beatles were becoming
famous, my childhood was spent watching too much TV, riding my bicycle around
Aintree Racecourse, and reading novels. Since graduating from college I have
worked for the National Health Service and managed a company involved in the
offshore oil industry.
I like to keep busy, and when I'm not working on a manuscript, I
can be found curled up with a book, gardening, designing knitwear, travelling
the world or walking Rosie.
I am the author of a number of short stories and two novels, The
House on the Shore, set in the Highlands of Scotland, and Three Weeks Last
Spring, set in the Pacific Northwest.
The House on the Shore was a contender for the 2009 Joan Hessayon Award
presented by the Romantic Novelist's Association. Three Weeks Last Spring is a 2010 Pushcart
Prize Nominee.
I am a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association.
